Frequently asked questions
Everything you need before heading out on a Europe Quest adventure.
- What is Europe Quest?
- Europe Quest is a self-guided city adventure. You buy a quest, open it on your phone and walk through a real city solving a story of logical and observation puzzles at genuine locations — real cities, real stories.
- What do I need to play?
- A smartphone with an internet connection, a charged battery (a power bank is recommended), comfortable shoes and weather-appropriate clothing. Nothing needs to be installed — the quest runs in your mobile browser.
- How does the quest start?
- After your purchase you get a unique game link. Open the link on your phone at the starting location shown in the quest and begin the first task. There is no booking or fixed start time — you start whenever you want.
- Does every player need their own link?
- Every player in your order gets their own unique game link and their own independent session, with separate progress, hints and score. You can copy each link and send it to the player it belongs to.
- How long does a quest take?
- Most quests take roughly 1.5 to 2.5 hours of relaxed walking, depending on the quest and how fast your team solves the tasks. The estimated duration is shown on each quest page.
- What if we get stuck on a task?
- Hints unlock automatically as you spend time on a task, and after that the answer can be revealed so you can always continue. Revealing the answer simply means no points for that task.
- What if my phone runs out of battery?
- Your progress is stored against your game link, so you can continue on the same link once your phone is charged, or open the link on another phone. Bringing a power bank is the safest option.
- Can we pause the quest?
- Yes. You can stop and come back later using the same game link. Keep in mind that hint timers run while a task is open.
- Is the quest safe? Do we need to force anything open?
- No physical force is ever required. Never damage, move or climb anything, and never enter private property. Quests take place in public space, so follow traffic rules and take part at your own risk.
- How much does it cost and how do I pay?
- Prices are shown in EUR per player on each quest page. Checkout currently runs in test mode: an order, invoice and game links are created for demonstration purposes and no money is taken.
- The site or my game link is not working — what now?
- Contact [support email] with your order number and a short description or screenshot of the problem, and we will help you continue.
